The anatomy of things by Mads Peitersen

Love for technology and gadgets and interest for humans, animals and plants. Put this all together and one sees the work of Mads Peitersen. Peitersen is an artist from Denmark and has been around for over 12 years on the professional market. He mainly works on games, toys and movies.

Inspired by the idea of how individuals see their phone and gadgets, Peitersen tries to capture those thoughts and express them through his art:

“You often hear people say: "My phone is dead" or "I can’t live without my phone." The metaphor is that a really rather simple and very dead gadget gives people a feeling of being more present, more alive.”

At first, he started with pencils. Shifting to working solely with computer programs was quite a struggle for him. But years later, his decision back then turns out to be quite successful: now he works as a graphic artist in the development of games.
